Returns, warranty and privacy

Simple terms for every Tap Thing Co. order, delivered in Ottawa–Gatineau or shipped across Canada. Questions? Write to us at info@tapthing.ca or call 613-366-9462.

30-day returns

You can return any product within 30 days of delivery, including products we have already configured with your link.
Return shipping is on us. Email us with your order details and we will arrange the return at no cost to you.
Please return products complete and undamaged, apart from normal handling.
We refund the product price to your original payment method within 10 business days of receiving the return.
If a product arrives damaged or is not what you ordered, we replace it or refund it in full, including delivery.

Five-year product warranty

Every order includes a five-year warranty from the date of delivery, whether delivered locally or shipped.
It covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, including an NFC tag that stops reading.
We will reconfigure, repair or replace the product. If none of these is possible, we refund it.
It does not cover accidental damage, misuse, modification or normal cosmetic wear such as scratches.
To make a claim, email us your order details and a photo of the product.

This warranty is in addition to your rights under consumer protection law.

Privacy

You do not need an account to use this site. Your cart and any destination links you save stay in your own browser and are not sent to us.
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
When you email us or place an order, we use your name, contact details, address and destination links only to answer you, fulfil your order and keep the records we are required to keep. We never sell your information.
Payments, once available, will be processed by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card number.
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
